This awesome set contains everything you need to
recreate the daring raid that paved the way for the Allied D-Day
invasion.
THE MISSION
The mission, in the opening minutes of the Normandy
landings, was to capture the Benouville Bridge and the nearby Ranville
Bridge in order to prevent German reinforcements from reaching the
beaches, where Allied forces were pouring ashore. 180 men, led by Major
John Howard, landed close to their targets in gliders. Using the element
of surprise, they were tasked with seizing the bridges, and more
importantly, hold them against the inevitable German counter attack.
Benouville Bridge was later renamed Pegasus Bridge, in reference to the
shoulder emblem worn by the British Airborne forces.
THE BATTLEFIELD
Using the contents of the battle set, you can really
set the scene for this pivotal battle. The centrepiece is a laser-cut
model of the bridge itself, accompanied by models of the Cafe Gondre, as
well as a pill box, a gun pit and even two telegraph poles!
FORCES
Next come the forces themselves - for the defenders,
20 German infantry, backed up with a 5cm KwK 39 anti-tank gun and MG42
machine gun team. The attackers are a 10-man British Airborne squad plus
a 2-man PIAT team, and an exclusive model of Major John Howard, which is
only available in this set. You'll also get decal sheets for both the
sides to help you prepare your forces for battle.
THE RULES
Last but not least the box includes a scenario
booklet that describes how to set up and fight the battle for Pegasus
Bridge. (Remember, this is a supplement for the Bolt Action game, so
you'll need a copy of the core rules too!)

SagePay
When you shop with us, our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address and credit card information. We use SagePay which are an industry leader in secure internet transactions. SagePay are used by thousands of other UK businesses for transaction security.
All transaction information passed between our website and the SagePay Payment System is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and all messages from SagePay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to SagePay can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Once on the SagePay system, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
SagePay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
No individuals within our company or SagePay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Their systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your card information is secure even from their own employees because the systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

- A shopper visits an e-commerce website and selects the items that they would like to buy.
- The shopper then proceeds to the merchant's checkout with their shopping basket. This generates a summary description of the purchase that is sent to WorldPay for payment processing. This submission is often referred to as the "purchase token".
- The shopper is redirected to WorldPay's secure server where they are presented with a series of payment pages, enabling them to choose their payment method and enter their payment details.
- WorldPay records the shopper's payment details against the details submitted in the purchase token to produce a transaction.
